America is in the grip of accusations—treasonous conspiracy, intelligence manipulation, and institutional betrayal. Yet many voters remain entranced by emotional appeal, personality politics, and partisan narratives. Female voters, in particular, are being urged to confront the destructive “feminine-wilds” mindset and insist on truth and accountability over surface charm and perceived empathy.

1. The Voting Psychology Trap: Charm Over Competence

Political psychology research warns of the likability trap, especially potent in U.S. elections against female candidates. Women voters and others may subconsciously emphasize warmth, relatability, and emotional expression when evaluating politicians, elevating charisma above competence.  Combined with ambivalent sexism—biases that disparage logical  fact-based leadership, and behaviour that amplifies susceptibility to superficial appeal and undermines rational.

2. Democrats in the Crosshairs: From Obama to the Clintons

The Obama Administration and Intelligence Leaders

Tulsi Gabbard has submitted over 100 pages of declassified documents to the DOJ alleging that President Obama, James Clapper, John Brennan, and James Comey orchestrated a political intelligence operation to delegitimize the Trump presidency—allegedly suppressing exculpatory information to craft a Russiagate narrative and undermine electoral faith in POTUS Trump. This strategy proved highly effective in undermining the first Trump administration and caused massive political turmoil throughout the United States. The Mueller Inquiry (that eventually cleared Trump of any collusion) cost the taxpayer $40 million and bedevilled the administration for three years.

Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and the Steele Dossier

  • Steele Dossier Funding: The Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee hired Fusion GPS (via the legal firm Perkins Cole) to produce the dossier, which claimed unverified allegations connecting Trump to Russia. They misreported the funding on FEC filings, resulting in $113,000 in fines—$8,000 for Clinton’s campaign and $105,000 for the Democrat National Committee (“DNC”).  A pittance in the circumstances and hardly accountability at all.
  • Foundation Controversies During her tenure as Secretary of State, the Clinton Foundation accepted millions of dollars in foreign government donations. Critics alleged donors sought access in exchange for contributions. While investigations by the DOJ wound down without charges, the foundation remained under scrutiny for ethics and influence concerns.  It was nevertheless dissolved, dismantled and disappeared.
  • Health and Messaging Suppression: A declassified House Intelligence Committee report released by Gabbard alleges Russian intelligence knew of Clinton’s psycho‑emotional health issues—being treated with heavy tranquilizers—and that Obama’s circle suppressed these concerns fearing electoral fallout. Intelligence also suggests Clinton approved false messaging linking Trump to Russia to distract from her own email scandal.

3. Female Voters Must Demand Rational Evaluation, Not Relatability

In the face of such serious allegations—not abstract controversies, but direct threats to democratic integrity—female voters who lean on emotional connection risk reinforcing patterns that shield deception. This is not about gender blame but civic awakening: the time for “warmth counts most” in candidate choice has passed. The likability heuristic must yield to accountability thinking.

4. The Stakes Are Monumental

The charges stretch beyond politics-as-usual. They touch treason, seditious conspiracy, and orchestrated manipulation of voter perception. Under constitutional law, true convictions for treason are rare, but seditious conspiracy or obstruction charges could be warranted if coordinated suppression of intelligence occurred. What is beyond doubt is Clapper, Comey and Brennan lied to Congress in the course of pursuing this deception.  Yet many voters remain locked in personality metrics rather than demanding full inquiry.

5. What Must Be Done

  • Democratic leaders—and specifically Clinton and Obama administrations—must submit to transparent investigation, including direct testimony and full release of claims and intelligence.
  • Female voters, and all voters, must break free from personality politics. Charm and empathy cannot substitute for constitutional fidelity.
  • Media and education platforms need to demystify how emotional persuasion works—especially how likability masks institutional wrongdoing.
  • Critical civic literacy—fact-based analysis, policy vetting, document-level scrutiny—must replace reflexive affinity.

Conclusion

When the Democratic Party’s core—Barack Obama, the Clintons, and top intelligence officials—are implicated in possible treasonous conspiracy, American voters cannot afford enchantment by personal charisma. Female voters must lead by rejecting the psychology of charm and favouring the hard light of accountability. The American republic depends on sober judgment, not cultivated persona.

  1. Yes … there was is slightly more criticism and perspective on Zelensky and his grift – wish his accountant would whistle-blow his finances or someone hack into his offshore balances and display them for all to see – maybe a billionaire by now? I had lunch with a good friend recently (a PhD engineer from St Petersburg, who encouraged me to visit for a holiday) – anyhow, if you want some insight into why Russia has leapfrogged ahead on all its military technology … corrupt Ukrainians (is there any other kind) have been selling all Western drones and missiles, etc to the Russians who strip them down for their secrets and then upgrade their own stuff to a clear state of superiority … makes one wonder, if the quartermaster is making a turn here, how much more are the generals up the line and Zelensky and his inner circle of fabulously wealthy oligarchs? He shot himself in the foot last week when tried to put himself as overseer of the two independent corruption agencies – NABU and SAPO? This finally is what prompted unprecedented local media speculation on their lily-white saint. Even though the European Council paused a loan of €17.3billion to Kiev this morning Mercouris suggests this is only temporary and that Z is still bulletproof – your Lammy comments hilarious and symbolic of how asinine the U.K. and other western governments have become – nobody in Parliament has yet asked the elephant-in-the-room obvious question of why Britain is pouring billions of pounds into this black hole called Ukraine, while slashing old people’s winter heating allowance and raising more and more taxes. Out of Africa can you think of anything more tragically absurd in our lifetime? The whole thing is like a scene out of Kafka.

    1. You throw accusations around like confetti at a wedding!
      How do you substantiate these?
Not in what you say, because other than wild accusations, you say nothing.

      1. My friend from St Petersburg is Andrey (so by definition he knows more about what’s happening in Russia than either of us), the European Council paused the loan described (which you can verify on any media outlet), and Zelensky trying to take control of NABU and SAPO has been all over the news the last week, with footage of Ukranian crowds protesting corruption in the streets of the main cities. These are facts easy to substantiate which I was relaying to Hannes in support of his observations to me this morning – we are the oldest of friends having a conversation which you have crashed without purpose of contribution, representation of an argument, facts or sources of your own, which is typical. And so rude. I’ve read your comments on Ukraine and think they are simplistic, unreferenced and lacking in research. You are fully entitled to your views and I respect that. With that said, there is clearly no meeting of the mind possible between us and it’s best we agree to disagree and go our separate ways.

        1. You should always expect challenges on a public forum. If you want to keep your discussion private,…. communicate directly,

  2. Hannes – we’re getting somewhere now – to your points: 1) Ukraine is in Asia – it’s a huge piece of land – not the point though: they have been prepared, built up and heavily equipped with the best of American weaponry for the exact purpose of confronting/defeating Russia militarily and quite honestly they are/were a formidable army – in his daily sitrep Mercouris details village by village the attritional war with Petrosk, the gateway to Kiev, about to collapse – the Russian philosophy, in contrast to the Americans who emphasise kilometres advanced, is ‘enemy killed’ – see MacGregor et al – max Russian dead = 150,000, Ukraine = + 1.5million of their best troops (Zelensky’s Hitleresque decisions and control much to blame) – it’s just a matter of time – Russia, with full control of the skies, wins its wars by unrelenting ferocious pressure; 2) they didn’t need the North Koreans but were happy with their request to help; 3) Iran declined a year ago Moscow’s offer of military assistance – thus NONE of their defence systems were in usage v Israel 12-day war – that is likely to change now – what is interesting though is how effective Iranian rocketry proved – and how found wanting were the Israeli patriots ‘Iron Dome’.

    1. PS … what is your source for the 4,000 tanks loss … it seems illogical given how the vulnerability of tank warfare was exposed by the Javelins, supplied by Trump, in the earliest days of the SMO … the Russians were slow but sure to adapt to the new warfare of the 21st Century of drones, artillery bombardment and missiles – and are now bloodied, battle hardened and ever-improving. Being methodical and systematic reduces their own losses, moreover.

      1. A colonel in one of the NATO armies who I have known a long time and respect. He is no Zelensky fan but he insists the Russians have suffered heavier losses than anticipated. He also speaks highly of the missile systems in the arsenals of Finland and Sweden and believes Russia should approach these two countries with caution. He also tells me the next war in Europe will not be against Russia but within.

        1. Well at least you’ve quoted your source, which is a rarity on this blog – my own view, with due respect to your friend, is that he is not nearly as informed as a dozen references I can give you off the top of my head, who profoundly report a different scenario. Indeed, his views are the official and contrived NATO line espoused by the likes of Mark Rutte and others I know you respect Douglas MacGregor – it would be time well spent tuning into just one of his daily broadcasts on YouTube and allow you to compare.

          1. Changing tack slightly I see even the British media which has been cheering him along, is reporting negatively on Zelensky, who they belatedly realise is a corrupt opportunist using this war to stay in power while enriching himself and his cronies. Not much heard lately from the buffoon Boris Johnson who played such an important part in making sure this war did not end earlier. And dare I ask, why are we being spared the wisdom of Foreign Secretary David Lammy? The man who thought Hitler’s first name was ‘Heil’? Britain is truly blessed to have this towering intellectual at the helm at this difficult and dangerous time.

          2. So you would rather Putin gets Ukraine, then Moldova, then Poland then whatever else he fancies?

          3. John Cowper,
Sorry, I can’t presume, who is the friend you refer to? My writing is Op-Ed and strictly opinion. I’m not pretending to write researched history.
I have been following the Duran with the two Alex’s for about fifteen years. I follow them independently and jointly. I found them recently off their game. I think Mercouris is back in balance. Judging Freedom with Judge Napolitano was initiually good. Col. MacGregor; Larry Johnson; Ray McGovern; and especially Alistair Crooke were excellent. Once again I think MacGregor and Scott Ritter went off the boil not to return. Amb. Charles Freeman is sound.
I could go on and on. No doubt you are equally informed by a wide range of influencers.
I’m not sure the point you are making.

      2. The Russians are not battle-hardened, and improving.
They are being decimated, or are deserting in regiment-sized droves and chewing through those North Koreans at a rate of knots.
The desertion rate is so alarming that they now have troops stationed behind the frontline units to shoot any who decides to desert or surrender.
Your figure of 1.5 million Ukrainian deaths is pure garbage, plucked straight out of the Kremlin press briefings.
        Your naivety is astonishing.

        1. Errol Chandler.
When you talk about your back yard my BS meter does not go off and you sound authoratative and informed. I mean that as a compliment.
Errol, there are many well-informed internet sites that are independent of obvious bias. I suggest you start with the ‘Duran’. It is a combo of Alexander Mercouris, a London based barraister and his life long friend Alex Christoforou (American). Both men are originally from Greece and raised in Greek Diplomatic families. I have been following these two for over fifteen years. I invariably agree with them but not unanimously. I attest to their intellectual honesty and have directed many people their way. Errol, please inform yourself re Russia v Ukraine, then let’s hear your comments.

          1. Will, to know more about the Muslim problem in the UK, Google: “The Red Wall And The Rabble.”
A website/blog run by a Muslim called Raja Miah. He has an OBE (Order of the British Empire). He is not just some nutter!
This guy pulls no punches as he exposes Muslim gangs, corrupt Labour councillors and MPs who are trying to suppress any mention of the Pakistani rape gangs to stay onside with Muslim voters.
Yes, he is a Muslim…….. who is deeply ashamed of his fellow Muslims.
The Labour Party have tried to shut him down, the police have tried to intimidate him into silence, they have arrested him a few times, but the courts have thrown the cases out every time because he has been able to prove all that he says is the unvarnished truth…he has been threatened with assassination. His family has been threatened, and his home has been attacked. Nothing has stopped him.
Find his website and sign up. It costs you nothing. There is a subscription service, but you do not have to use it, and you will receive a stream of emails and links detailing the problems we have with Muslims and corrupt politicians in the Uk.in the UK.
Today’s offering is entitled: The Rotherham Police Rape Gang Scandal.
In it, he details a list of the worst possible accusations that can be made against a police force….. the uncomfortable fact is that it is all true… and he provides the evidence!
Rotherham is one of over 50 towns and cities in the UK where these gangs operate.
Let me know what you think!

          2. Errol Chandler.
In good faith, we accept your perspective re UK reportage. We share the same general perspective vis-a-vis Islamic immigrants and we’re not at all surprised to see ‘Perfidious Albion’ (“PA”), disappearing up its own treacherous back-side. PA betrayed Rhodesians and was bound to end up betraying itselves. Nigel Farage could become a UK Trump. We have no doubt that DJT would help and support him. The weakness is the average PA voter, who is pathetic, lacking in traditional values and yes “IGNORANT”. Explain the rational for the dumb UK support for Ukraine? If you understood the history that led to the Russian SMO you would understand why DJT wants to get the US out of the region as quickly as possible. The secret is to ignore the false MSM, drop all previous preconceptions and seek the truth. You will end up disgusted and you’ll probably get rejected by your fellows. On the other hand you will be liberated from lies and deception. Errol before to send to a diatribe of invective, THINK.

          3. Never mind!
Research is second nature to me, and I am known for the dogged pursuit of factual evidence. My field is genealogy, and exploring the myriad destinations that open up. Unearthing long-forgotten documents that overturn entrenched opinions is something I revel in, just as does skewering the obfuscations of current-day politicians and commentators.
Do have a look at the Raja Miah documents.
            Cheers
            Errol.

    2. Those figures of the troop deaths on either side? Where did you get those? Is it still called Pravda?

  3. The female vote is often overlooked, underrated and taken for granted….. at the peril of the politicians.
In the UK, it had become the norm for the Labour government to brand all those who disagree with them as “Far Right.”
By relentlessly using that label, they managed to carry with them most of the press and the police.
That myth has just exploded in Keir Starmer’s face, and he does not know how to handle the new reality.
The protesters outside the illegal migrant hotels have suddenly changed from being predominantly males, with a scattering of females.
It is now 50-50, and the female proportion is growing rapidly.
The message delivered by the protesters has changed. The placards now read “I am a mother and am concerned for the safety of my children.”
The reason is that there are now multiple incidents in which women (young and old) and small children (girls and boys) are being harassed.
There have been serious incidents of physical abuse and attempted rape, of being followed and molested by the male migrants housed in the hotels.
The use of hotels is kept secret until people see activity when security barriers are erected, new beds and mattresses are delivered, security guards turn away curious locals, and the staff are dismissed. Once the truth emerges, the locals become energised and the police arrive mob-handed to beat them up.
The police also deliberately inflame the situation by bringing in counter-protesters, busing in those naive enough to support the migrants and excuse their primitive behaviour. This inevitably leads to physical clashes and violence, which gives the police the excuse to beat up the original protesters.
Most of the hotels are in residential areas and close to schools. Hotels designed for a maximum of 200 guests are being crammed with 400 migrants…. four to a room. Most are single males aged sixteen to thirty. They are free to leave the hotels and loiter about in the local community. They are arriving from cultures that see women as chattel, there to serve the males. When they look at the local females, they must think they are in a sweetshop and that the promised 72 virgins have been made available earlier than expected.
The police have, reluctantly, made a few arrests…. one migrant was arrested following the attempted rape of a 12-year-old girl in the street outside her home, just eight days after he arrived in a dinghy from France.
Little wonder that parents are worried and upset and are demanding action.
Faced with that, the police do not know how to react; they are despised for their current bias.
British police like to brag that they “Police by consent”.
Do they attack the mothers to break up the protests to keep Starmer’s socialist dream alive, or tell Starmer to get stuffed?
I think it will be the latter.
It is their dilemma….. and the beginning of the endgame for Starmer.

    1. Thanks Errol very interesting. What do you make of the latest news on Tommy Robinson?

      1. That news has just broken, so I am not sure of the details.
However, he is used as the whipping boy to besmirch those they brand as “Far Right”, so it is already being suggested that it was a setup to create an incident. It seems a bit much to accept that Robinson would be so foolish as to brazenly attack someone so soon after his last encounter with the law. Remember, it was only a year ago that he was assaulted by the police while in a cafe having coffee… because there was a protest further down the road in which he was not involved…. but it made good copy for the leftie media and the police who do their best to provoke trouble where none exists.
Was this latest a set-up to get their version of him into the headlines and so divert attention from the real problems?
No doubt the CCTV at the station will be found to have been not working….as it would have proved the truth, one way or the other. …. and the one way favoured by the police is the way they want it to appear. Jean Charles de Menezes is proof of that. He was innocent but shot dead by police who claimed he had leapt over the barriers, was wearing bulky clothing, stood up, did not comply, etc., etc. The CCTV was supposedly “out of order”, but other passengers caught up in the murder testified in court that he did not do anything that the police claimed had caused them to put eight bullets in his head. To rub salt into the insulting lies, the two trigger-happy assassins were given all expenses paid family holidays to “recover from their trauma”, and the top cop who ordered the killing was promoted to head up the Metropolitan Police.
Little wonder the majority of the UK public no longer trust the police.

        1. Thanks for this Errol, I’m astonished but your postulation rings true. Poor guy has just come out the slammer why now go and beat someone up and flee the country?? It looks like there are some wicked people in powerful places in the UK.

    2. Hi Errol Chandler,
I am influenced by your contribution because it is ‘in your back yard’ and you appear to be fair, balanced and informed. We tend to agree with your UK political sentiments vis-a-vis Sir Kier Starmer. He is a disaster. We briefly met Nigel Farage (Reform Party) in Brisbane and again in Sydney, at a Conservative Conference. He was one of the keynote speakers. We think Nigel Farage has what it takes to lead the UK back from the brink.

      1. Farage speaks the language people yearn to hear, but in a more measured and articulate way than Robinson.
Just as the Starmer mob constantly denigrate Tommy Robinson, so they try and smear Farage.
In both instances, it is a measure of the dawning realisation that both targets are making fools of them, so the left-leaning press and the BBC go all out to support the attacks.
In the latest on Farage by Labour, he is compared with Jimmy Savile, the notorious sex offender.
That was the extraordinary claim made this week by a leading Labour politician.
Unfortunately for him, his photograph recently appeared in the newspapers.
There he is, pictured alongside his “good friend”, a guy who has just been arrested for child porn.
Egg on the face of the Labour spin-doctors!

    3. Errol Chandler,
(1). Your first sentence is “The female vote is often overlooked, underrated and taken for granted….. at the peril of the politicians.” That may be true, nevertheless I argue that the female voter is more interested in micro subjects and under-informed about macro subjects. Woman want the alleviation of suffering ‘period’. Men want to know who will be paying for the alleviation and how will it be done? The psychology and physical differences between the genders has been researched ad nauseum. Females’ generally speaking refuse to accept the reality of biology.
(2). My argument is that a failure to educate and inculcate gender specific expectations according to nature, leads to a jaundiced and unhappy society.
(3). Females and ‘girlie boys’ find common cause with Sir Keir Starmer, go figure. I have never met a male who admitted to liking Starmer. DJT would contort into a pretzel to close a deal, what a wonderful capacity?
(2). I note that you do not use the name ‘Muslim’ or refer to ‘Islam’ at all. It is the elephant in the room.
(3). UK police are a microcosm of UK society. If the police are misguided then so is the society.

      1. Will, I do not know where you get your info from, but in response to your points:
‘Females and “girlie boys” find common cause with Starmer.’
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Females distrust him because when he was the Director of Public Prosecutions (the DPP), he refused to prosecute the Pakistani Grooming Gangs that were (and still are) raping young white girls, despite the evidence provided by parents, social workers, health visitors and schools.
The reason…..Labour depends on the Muslim vote in many constituencies…. they could not afford to be seen as cracking down on Muslim men. Votes for Labour were more important than the innocence of white girls aged 10 to 16.
He also refused to prosecute TV star, Jimmy Savile, the paedophile who abused boys and girls for decades.
Starmer is reaping the consequences of ignoring the concerns of mothers.
        >
“Girlie boys.”…..unless they are rent-boys that Starmer patronises! (huge story about him and three Coatian rent-boys in London)
They support the Liberal Democrats (aka the LibTards.)
Females now support ReformUK (the Nigel Farage party) as they are seen as the only party with British values and interests at heart.
They are way ahead in the polls. If a general election were held now, ReformUK would win with a substantial clear majority, and Farage would be Prime Minister. Reform is currently 11% ahead of Labour and 23% ahead of the Conservatives… the LibTards do not even register.
        >
“Girlie Boys.” They tend to support the LibTards or the Greens. (Of course, Starmer has a “warm spot” for what you called girlie-boys, he was recently caught up in a scandal concerning him and three Croatian rent-boys in London. It is now going through the courts.
        >
These days, one tends not to say Muslim or Islam…. they are so often the centre of crime and trouble, it is just assumed the goat shaggers are involved and at the heart of all crime.
        >
        The police.
They lost the trust of the British people years ago as they became increasingly biased against the concept of British values.
They no longer bother about home burglaries, car theft, phone snatching, bicycle theft, watch snatching, or shop-lifting. You report that it has happened, are given a crime number, and that closes the case! Knife crime is up by 80% in the past decade, or 58% in the last three years alone. Only one in 20 cases across the full scope of criminal activity is prosecuted.
The police find the time to arrest people for what they call a “non-crime” activity.
What the hell is that? God knows, and the police cannot give you a definition, but that is what they call anything they decide is not in line with their ideas. This week, they have set up a nationwide unit to police people’s online social media activity. Yes, that is a fact. It is now thought policing.
They arrest people for the “crime” of complaining about the number of illegals crossing the Channel every day…. that is classified as a “hate crime” and, as of this week, criticism of anything Islamic will be viewed as a “hate crime.”
They have the time to participate officially in Pride events, where you see them (the males!) mincing along in high heels, lipstick and full make-up…they say they are “showing solidarity” with the gay community.
It does not occur to the police that Muslims believe in “curing” gays by throwing them off high buildings.
They escort and transport to the site the people who counter-protest against those who are protesting against the rape gangs!
By that, they (the police) are seen as supporting those who support the mass rape of young white girls by Pakistanis (Muslims).
Little wonder the mothers and parents have had enough and regard Starmer with utter contempt.
If the police had sight of what I have written here, I would probably be arrested in the early hours of tomorrow morning by 10 coppers battering down the door and ransacking the house in their search for”subversive” items.
In one such dawn raid the person arrested had a tape recorder running. It picked up ignorant police officers discussing the contents of his bookcase and commenting that the book, “Animal Farm,” looked a bit dodgy and that “The Story Of D-Day” must mean the householder is interested in violence. That is the level of ignorance and prejudice our police are now known for.
They have always said they “Police by consent”.
Well, these days the people see them as biased and anti-British.
Retired police officers are joining ReformUK every day. One of their very senior detectives joined yesterday, and last night he went on national television to announce it.
The UK is no longer what people fondly imagine.
The inner cities are becoming war zones, and the drug problem (Muslim inspired and largely controlled) is out of control.

        1. Errol Chandler,
Okay, your UK opinions appear to be sound. My UK knowledge coincides with yours. You are at the coalface, I must thus ‘stand corrected’.

  4. Unlike you Will I have no fascination whatsoever with America’s hypocritical lowbrow internal politics – however, American geopolitics is another matter because that affects the planet and I have to confess to the jury coming in with the verdict on your boy – would he have had the courage to back his instincts with regard to rapprochement with Russia the world would be a safer place – but it is clear now, surely even to you, that he has no academic frame of reference, is prone to flattery and has capitulated to the likes of Rutte/Merz/Starmer et all and, above them, the neocons/deep state (call it what you will). With all the usual bluster, which doesn’t stand up to close scrutiny, Trump in yet another volte-face has openly sided with that grifter Zelensky and doomed Ukraine to destruction, as did the incompetent Joe Biden before him. Plus ca change, plus c’est la meme chose. So disappointing, but hardly a surprise.

    1. John I think Trump has tried with both Putin and Zelensky and he’s not to blame for the lack of progress. I think he’s very upset with both of them. If he erred, it was in underestimating how intractable this problem is.

      1. Hannes – I wish it was like that and I take to your point to the seeming difficulty – but it’s not – as ceaselessly encouraged by the neocons/deep state/Europeans Trump has actively picked a side and is re-attacking Russia with weapons deployment to the conflict and the deadline threat of 100% (500% if Lindsay Graham gets his way) on all Russia’s oil-buying and trading partners – namely, China and India (not to mention back-door Europe) – a self-defeating perilous policy, to put it mildly. All he had to do, as he once threatened, and which was his instinct, was walk away. That would have ended the war and forced a settlement. But Zelensky, the Europeans and most of all the neocons/deep state wouldn’t let him and he has allowed himself to be dragged in as an anti-Russia protagonist, as in his first term, and now is no different to Biden in terms of his foreign policy.

        1. I simply don’t believe Trump has been captured by the neocons. I have no doubt he wants this war to end but this is proving a tough nut to crack. What is clear to me is the Russian military has performed unimpressively and that has come as a surprise.

          1. You’re getting that from Kiev propaganda and the likes of Kellogg, Keane, Rubio – according to commentators such as Ritter, Doug MacGregor, Daniel Davies, Larry Johnson and a host of reliable sources the Russian military are performing with textbook exquisite precision in all aspects – training, logistics, industrial manufacture, technological enhancement in drones, rocketry, strategic technical defense, troop deployments and innovative 21st century warfare. Plus their political leadership is pinpoint and the morale is high with volunteer recruitment in record numbers. They are systematically and in their own precise way pulverising the Ukranian army. Try listening to Alexander’s daily and highly sitrep and you’ll hear a different story. The last body swop – Russia 5, Ukraine +1,000. The Russians always start their wars sloppy but then gear up into the perfect war machine. Which is where they are now.

          2. You better informed on this than I but they seem to be taking a long time to defeat a relatively small country. They have lost over 4,000 tanks, they have reached out to North Korea for help and their missile defence systems did not seem very effective in protecting Iran?

          3. I agree, the Russians are taking a pounding they never anticipated.
Anyone who thinks the Russian war machine is operating “with textbook precision” is either wilfully lying or simply blind to reality.
Once Ukraine has long-range missiles and Moscow gets properly hit, the world will see a different scenario.

          4. Errol Chandler,
Look at the Ukraine war maps on the internet. See the huge Russian advances way beyond the four annexed oblasts and on the way to the capital Kiev. Now explain your statemnent, I quote “I agree, the Russians are taking a pounding they never anticipated. Anyone who thinks the Russian war machine is operating “with textbook precision” is either wilfully lying or simply blind to reality. Once Ukraine has long-range missiles and Moscow gets properly hit, the world will see a different scenario.” Errol, take stock, these comments are ignorant.

      2. John Cowper,
This is one of those easy debates because by proving John wrong, he will not be disappointed. I will try to persaude John by logic, but time will prove me right anyway.
(1), DJT is above all an extremely intelligent pragmatic and intuitive man. His negotiating skills are brilliant and on display daily. John could not have failed to notice them. In my opinion DJT shares John’s basic instincts but he knows that the Ukraine debacle must be settled on terms that doesn’t do more harm than good. It is important not to entirely undermine US vested interests in Ukraine; NATO standing in Europe; Ukraine democratic aspirations; EU sense of honour, and last but by no means least, the jaundiced opinion of the western world at large. Part of the civilised western world got played by the Crossfire Hurricane BS. 67% of Australians are reported to have absorbed the BS ‘hook line and sinker’ . It will take time to undo the jaundiced Crossfire Hurricance fake propaganda.
(2). I disagree with anyone who thinks that Russia has not on average performed exceplionally. The truth is that Russians were in effect manipulated by US western intelligence into fighting Russians. The old adage is “never attack the Russians”, they are a tough nation. Getting Russians to fight themselves was brilliant but not without consequences. The evil strategy it has put real spine, determination and endeavour into the Russian army. I suspect they would dearly like to prove themselves against the US and EU forces. DJT knows that the US population would not tolerate the kind of carnage in bodybages that would result in a conflict with Russia. It is inconceivable.
(3). Accepting the above two concepts, DJT is brilliant at the ‘carrot and stick’ negotiations strategy. He will wield either concept with ruthless abandon. He wants a peaceful outcome. His negotiating strategy is to ensure that pressure is constantly applied. He much prefers the ‘carrot’ but the threat of the ‘stick’ is always omnipresent.
(4). DJT knows that Russia will have its way, he knows that nothing can stop a Russian victory. He knows and appreciates that Russia prefers a ‘big carrot’ enducement. On the other hand he must persaude the Russians from the ruthless ‘victor takes the spoils’ mentality. I believe that the brilliant Vladamir Putin has his own Russian interests and pressures to finesse. They are working together.
Now, John Cowper, I hope I have persauded you that peace in Ukraine is coming because it is in everyone’s interests. The USA cannot affort to fight the Russians and nuclear war is out of the question. Donald J Trump is a great, great man. He is my hero and I assure you I am not easily persauded.
Finally, I concede I love the USA Constitution, its culture, its traditional values and its people. We also stand with Israel,

        1. Will – not sure how feeding Ukraine more weapons and putting tariffs on them, China and India will only achieve further antagonism because its just more US hostility to Russia – apart from ensuring more Ukrainians get slaughtered and their country further obliterated – and how does appointing a neocon fanatic moron like Kellogg in charge of Ukrainian policy indicate anything other than he’s reversed his beliefs? I mean, when did you last hear of Witkoff? And the term ‘greatness’ Will applies to people who have actually done something great – he is a long way off that and I put it to you your idol has feet of clay. As for the illiterate comment by the other person on this blog that Russia will collapse when Ukraine starts rocketing Moscow – well it’s only Tomahawks that have that capacity and thank God they haven’t been delivered yet … the thing with this missile is it has the capacity to carry a nuclear warhead, which is the root fear from the Russians point of view and the cause of the conflict in the first place – put another way, the first Tomahawk launched out of Ukraine activates nuclear war – they have no choice -,that doesn’t worry Errol, but it sure worries me.

          1. John Cowper,
You underestimate DJT and because you do you are not reading ‘the tea leaves’ correctly. We won a substantial sum of money on Australian Sports Bet by reading between the lines and betting on DJT. This small debate will be answered in the next few months and Russia will emerge the big winner. Ukraine will barely survive but as a shadow of its former self. As the Zen Master said, “we’ll see”. LOL.

    1. One thing is quite clear: Everyone is ignorant…….. in the opinion of Will Self.
