For over seventy-five years, military and intelligence officials across the world have documented a persistent, baffling, and technologically unexplainable aerial phenomenon. From the post–Second World War era through to the present day, what we now term “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” (UAPs)—formerly known as UFOs—have evaded radar systems, outpaced our most advanced aircraft, and defied known laws of physics.
This is no longer the realm of mere speculation or conspiracy. It is now, quite demonstrably, a matter of sober official inquiry.
Since the first modern sighting in June 1947 by American pilot Kenneth Arnold—an event which gave rise to the now-iconic term “flying saucers”—governments have taken varying degrees of interest. In the United States, this interest quickly formalised with Project Sign (1948), followed by Project Grudge, and ultimately Project Blue Book, which ran from 1952 until 1969 and investigated over 12,000 incidents. While many were dismissed, 701 cases remained unexplained.
Though Blue Book ended, official interest did not. In fact, it went underground. From the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) to the more recent All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), the Pentagon’s involvement with UAPs has been ongoing, and—as whistleblower testimony now makes clear—often classified under Special Access Programs (SAPs) far removed from Congressional scrutiny.
Recent hearings before the United States Congress have brought this issue back to the fore. Witnesses such as Commander David Fravor, who engaged the infamous “Tic Tac” craft off the coast of California in 2004, and David Grusch, a former intelligence officer turned whistleblower, have made statements under oath that are nothing short of astounding.
Grusch, in particular, alleges the existence of a multi-decade crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program, involving craft of non-human origin. He has testified that “non-human biologics” were recovered at crash sites, and that he has personally spoken to over 40 witnesses involved in these programs. These claims,
while not yet accompanied by publicly verifiable materials, have been delivered under oath with full legal liability for perjury—a rare level of gravity in such matters.
What’s more, President Donald J. Trump has acknowledged that he was briefed on UAP matters. While he has maintained a measured public stance, Trump has stated he possesses documents on the subject and intends to disclose all in the future. This alone confirms that the U.S. Executive Branch treats the phenomenon as a legitimate area of national interest.
These developments are not confined to American shores. France, the United Kingdom, Russia, Brazil, Canada, and Chile have all hosted official UAP investigation bodies over the last half-century. The French space agency GEIPAN continues to study these incidents with scientific rigour. The UK’s Ministry of Defence ran a “UFO desk” until 2009. The global nature of the phenomenon and its study underscores a point: this is no isolated curiosity.
And yet the most audacious claims remain unverified. Who exactly is involved in the reverse-engineering of recovered craft? According to Elizondo and Grusch, the efforts are housed within a tight network of military contractors, shielded from oversight by layers of bureaucracy. There are hints that agencies like the CIA and DIA, along with private aerospace firms, have been collaborating on exotic propulsion systems well beyond our current technological horizon.
The implications are enormous—particularly when one considers the recovery of “non-human biologics”, reportedly extracted from crash sites and subjected to forensic scrutiny in classified labs. Former officials have hinted at implants of unknown origin, recovered from military personnel, that move under observation and resist conventional analysis. If true, this is not merely military-grade secrecy—it is a paradigm shift.
Scientific progress is rapidly catching up to this mystery. We are now entering an age in which the boundaries of our physics are being redefined. In 2023, NASA publicly funded research into warp drive feasibility, and multiple research institutions have begun exploring antigravity and zero-point energy fields—concepts long ridiculed, but now cautiously re-examined.
Furthermore, the James Webb Space Telescope has begun to unveil an even more mind-bending layer to this story. Webb has already detected potential signs of biosignatures on exoplanets, possible atmospheric anomalies, and stars so old and so massive that they challenge the conventional Big Bang cosmology. If there is
intelligent life beyond Earth—and if it has visited us—then the Webb Telescope may be among our first tools in confirming it scientifically.
In recent months, the United States Congress has held unprecedented hearings on the subject of UAPs. Unlike earlier inquiries that treated the matter with scepticism or secrecy, the current Congressional hearings have taken on a tone of serious national concern. These proceedings are marked by bipartisan support and have included testimony under oath by former intelligence and military officers. These hearings are investigating claims of reverse-engineered technologies from recovered craft, and the allegations are stacking up with consistency.
A consistent theme has emerged across decades of UAP sightings: a pronounced interest in military installations. From nuclear missile silos in Montana and Minot to air force bases across the globe, UAPs have been repeatedly observed hovering near or disabling weapons systems. In some cases, entire nuclear arsenals were reportedly rendered temporarily inoperative. This strategic pattern implies either reconnaissance or an unspoken warning.
Compounding this issue is the documented increase in near-miss incidents between UAPs and both military and civilian aircraft. Commanders and commercial pilots alike have testified to their experiences, which include evasive manoeuvres to avoid collisions. The frequency of these events—and the potential for catastrophe—has alarmed defence and aviation authorities, who warn that it may be only a matter of time before an incident results in tragedy.
A new and chilling element has now entered the discussion: the possibility that a non-human entity—an alien being—was at some point held in captivity. While this has not been confirmed, human intelligence sources reportedly claim knowledge of such events. Whether the entity was cooperative, deceased, or biologically viable is unknown. But if true, it would upend everything we know about biology, consciousness, and diplomatic engagement. These facts were made known under oath to the Congressional Hearing.
The implications of technological advancement based on recovered extraterrestrial craft are already under heavy scrutiny. There is a growing argument that several breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, materials science, and propulsion systems may owe their origin to such reverse-engineering efforts. It is a controversial thesis—but one that aligns with the sudden, exponential leaps observed in select sectors of technology over the past thirty years.
Which brings us to the musings of Elon Musk and others like him. Musk, a figure both admired and feared, has repeatedly warned of humanity’s fragile position in the face of artificial superintelligence. As machines outpace human capability, and as tech giants race toward AI supremacy, the window for human relevance is narrowing. If AI systems are, indeed, partly inspired by or derived from non-human sources, we may be confronting a dual eclipse—one of biological primacy, and another of intellectual sovereignty.
What is unfolding may not just be the story of unidentified aerial phenomena. It may be the slow, dawning recognition that humanity is no longer alone—and perhaps no longer in control.
History has taught us that paradigm shifts rarely occur gently. Whether through religious revelation, Copernican cosmology, or the advent of the nuclear age, truth has always arrived with resistance and awe. So too may this one.
We are being watched. And we may soon learn by whom.

Will, you say we may not be alone and perhaps not in control.
I believe one of the most compelling examples of this is the landing of one of these craft at a private school in Ruwa on September 13, 1994 where people not of this earth interacted with several schoolchildren regarding the urgent need to protect the planet.
Scientists and academics have tried to dismantle this story without success. It still remains one of the most irrefutable visits and interactions by beings from afar with earthlings.
My good friend Martin Field with whom I went through BSAP recruit training in 1978 had a step daughter at the school.
Google Ruwa Zimbabwe UFO incident.
Hi Anthony,
Yes Indeed, the Ruwa alien encounter was/is absolutey true, and verified. There is no question that it occurred. Isn’t it remarkable that it took place in Ruwa, Zimbabwe (Rhodesia)?
I was a pre-UDI BSAP recruit and in ninimum time rose to the rank of Inspector. I was a true BSAP believer. That is to say, until I was posted to Centenary as Member-In-Charge. It was at the beginning of Operation Hurricane. The previous MIC had been seriously injured by a landmine. His wife was killed in the same incident. Everynight I sat in on the National – Joint Operational Command (“JOC”) – as an advisor. Few people could have consistently observed and absorbed as enlightened a perspective of the macro-and-micro minutiae in the JOC and Operation Hurricane as I did. My story has been published on the internet by Hannes Wessells and John Van Zyl. They did so in raw form and in my case I tried as honestly as I could to tell the “truth the whole truth and nothing but the truty”. The only detail I chastise myself for was my reluctance to accept the betrayal of Rhodesia by CIO – Ken Flower and SB Branch Two. The CIO; SB One; and Branch Two were directly under the command of Ken Flowers. Mike Edden, who I got to know well, reported to Flowers, and Edden commanded Branch One and the national CID. Mike Edden did Flowers bidding and did so without question. As mentioned I got to know Edden well and in my opinion he was a self-promoting narcissist with character shortfalls. I would say Mike was well suited for ruthless Intelligence work. After I satisfied myself as to his bona fides, I refused to have anything to do with him. My internet revelations are 100% true and accurate. Many BSAP types ridiculed my truth out of pettiness. “A noble heart cannot suspect in others the pettiness and malice that it has never felt – Jean Racine”.
I mention the above in the hope that you will reassess some of your opinions when benchmarked against better opinions. It is the best way to be.
Will,
What an interesting life you’ve led. Your book would make an incredible read historically.
I only served four years and four days. My rank was Section Officer. My station was Law and Police Department at Morris Depot and the Staff College.
I joined Old Mutuals legal Department but was removed from that position by Mugabe himself who had me head up the DORK Counter Intelligence Desk under Mike Crafter. I worked with the US government monitoring Kim IL Sung. It was fraught with danger and uncertainty as Mugabe constantly thought he was being undermined because of the damning intelligence he was receiving about North Korean activities in Zimbabwe and the ruthlessness with which the 5th Brigade was murdering people in Matabeleland.
I worked extensively with Ken Flower, Danny Stannard, Mike Marillier and with my long distance running coach Ian Harries.
Little known to anyone was the fact that Mervyn Hamilton, the RBC sports announcer and reporter and I were trained in Langley and Quantico as the only two Hostage Negotiators and Crisis Managers in the country.
During my seven year stint with the Counterintelligence Department, I also worked on special projects with Jake Harper Ronald who’s book Sunday Bloody Sunday makes an excellent read. In 1991 I was declared persona non grata by the government and my family escaped to Canada.
In all my years in intelligence I was never more fascinated with anything than how rich white RhodesiansZimbabweans reported on their competitors and the list of paid confidential informers would make ones eyes water.
I’m proud to have been a stabilizing presence in a mad world. I personally intervened to have countless decisions overturned concerning the detention of white families on trumped up charges.
Done time ago a contributor to this platform said sarcastically that I shouldn’t mention a shameful job as the cio on.ly resume.
Perhaps he or his kin were among those whose lives I saved at great personal risk as I flatly refused to carry a ZANU (PF) card as mandated.
Steve Marillier not Mike.
I also worked with Terence Keen and often dined with him at the Canadian Club in Toronto which may have also been called The Royal Canadian Military Institute whose foyer showed off the remains of the Red Barons famous biplane.
Anthony,
Did you mean Tony Marillier at CIO? A fine cricketer.
Will, yes Tony Marillier. His wife Eve worked with my wife at Puzey and Payne. In 1978 Eve gave birth to Dougie. We called him Ignat because he was so small. He would grow up to revolutionize the Marillier Scoop, an audacious skill that could destroy the opposition.
As an interesting aside, Tony named two of his three boys after former Prime Minister Ian Douglas Smith who had his old Peugeot 304 regularly serviced by Puzey and often dropped in to chat with Eve, my wife, and Sherry Young, wife of former Asst. Commissioner (I think) Dave Young. Mr Smith lived a few miles away in Milton Park.
Eventually some sane, considered and informed musings about what has been reported and written about decades ago by George Adamski, Erich von Daniken and others.
Thank you Mr Keys for putting it out there in a very erudite, factual way without the sensational drama normally associated with these facts.
The human mind is a slow animal to retrain away from dogma, indoctrination and belief systems.
Hi Gerard, many thanks.
Hi Errol, Glad to see you do have a brain LOL. Moving on, there are literally thousands of air crew worldwide reporting UAP phenomena.
Congressional testimony has put the phenomena in no doubt. Where does it leave humanity from a general philisophical perspective? I accept the UPA phenomena as fact, but my anthropomorphic brain finds it difficult to adjust too. With UAP phenomena and Super-Enhanced AI, the classical v quantum mechanics combination we enable solutions to astronomically complex computational and chemical solutions in the cassical universe. I suppose that the good news is that the human brain still rules supreme in the classical biological physics universe. We need to take steps to restrain and moderate the unbridled silicon quantum mechanical expansion. The biological brain must retain a permanent fail-safe switch capacity, that is ubiquitous in all Super Enhanced AI.
I continue to be amazed how the Bible covers everything in human society, including this.
In the last days, now, massive deception will envelope the world. Artificial Intelligence will play it’s part.
It’s part of an ancient plan by the Father of evil, Satan, to discredit God and His Son Jesus.
In ancient wars fallen angels became demons and they require flesh to live in. Enter the Nephilim that the flood through Noah destroyed. Then the giants that plagued the land of Israel, all of whom God told Joshua to destroy. The only giants they did not kill came from Gaza. Get the drift? That demonic spirit remains there. Very soon the church will be removed from Earth so enter “Aliens” to lie to the unsaved as to where we went. This is not a fairy story. So its all older than 1947. There is a ufo taking off in the Mona Lisa for crying in a bucket.
Hi Anthony Ballinger, are your comments some form of code because I don’t get the drift or the logic.
Maybe one of osUAP’s will arrive and all will be revealed?
My elder brother was a Senior Captain with South African Airways. In the early 1980s’s he was flying a 747 from Johannesburg to London.
The route in those days went around “the bulge”. It was well after midnight when he and his flight crew became aware of something on the radar that seemed to be tracking them. Emitting no visible lights, it moved closer and flew above and alongside both sides of the Jumbo, then below them, for many miles before disappearing at what he described as an “astonishing speed” before dropping off the radar. After about thirty minutes, it reappeared and seemed to hover immediately in front of the Jumbo, remaining there for a minute before popping over the aircraft to position itself at the tail end. This went on, backwards and forwards, for a few minutes before it disappeared at high speed.
During the “contact”, their radios ceased to function, only becoming live again after the “thing” finally left them.
This encounter was reported by radio back to SAA control at Jan Smuts. On returning to SA a few days later, he and his co-pilot were whisked away to Pretoria and interrogated by a team of senior military officers and an assortment of civilians, including two Americans. It was briefly reported in the SA press at the time, and then just disappeared overnight, never to be mentioned again. He swears that it was an alien craft.
He is a very level-headed person, not prone to exaggeration, but is convinced that something tangible was observing them.
>
I was a guest in the cockpit of a SAA Jumbo from take-off at Smuts to landing at Heathrow, occupying the jump seat immediately behind the Captain (not my brother, that time) and was fitted with a set of earphones, so I heard everything.
There is constant chatter between aircraft as they talk to one another, and with Roberts Field, the American base in Liberia. Roberts Field acted as traffic control on the West Coast of Africa. I recall our Captain requesting permission to change altitude by a couple of thousand feet.
Roberts Field told him to hold on, as they had a Cuban aircraft in the area that would have to change altitude to accommodate us.
I heard Roberts field ask the Cubano (as they called them) if he would change altitude….the reply was a curt “Nyet”.
I reckon it was a Russian flying that “Cubano,” probably on his way to Angola, loaded with Cuban troops or supplies.
My Captain just shrugged and said, “The bastards never do as they are asked and try to make our life more difficult.” We landed at Sal island to refuel and then at Heathrow, where the Captain said “George” would land us.
The autopilot did so, and the Captain said, “Not bad, but I can do it better than he!”
I was then taken on the crew bus into London, where it made a detour to drop me at my hotel.
That concluded a fantastic experience.
